KEYNOTE SPEAKER

 Viswanath Venkatesh

Prof. Venkatesh is an Eminent Scholar and Verizon Chair of Business Information Technology at the Pamplin College of Business, Virginia Tech.  He is widely regarded as one of the most influential scholars in business and economics, both in terms of premier journal publications and citations. His research focuses on understanding the diffusion of technologies in organizations and society. He has worked with several companies and government agencies.  His works have been cited about 160,000 times and about 55,000 times per Google Scholar and Web of Science, respectively, with an h-index of 85 and i-10 index of 142. He has been recognized to be among the most influential scientists (e.g., Clarivate, Thomson Reuters’ highlycited.com, Emerald Citations, SSRN, PLoS Biology). He is a Fellow of the AIS and the Information Systems Society, INFORMS.

Athanasia (Nancy) Pouloudi

Prof Nancy Poulpudi is the President of The Associaton for Information Systems. She is Professor of Information Systems Management in the Department of Management Science and Technology at the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB), Greece. She presently serves as Department Chair (September 2020-August 2022). She was Region 2 Representative on AIS Council (2010-2013) and regularly serves on the AIS Region 2 Board and the Executive Committee of the Mediterranean Conference on Information Systems (MCIS). Her service has been recognized by the 2016 AIS Sandra Slaughter Service Award and the 2020 AIS Technology Challenge Award.

Yogesh K. Dwivedi

Yogesh K. Dwivedi is a Professor of Digital Marketing and Innovation and Founding Director of the Digital Futures for Sustainable Business & Society Research Group at the School of Management, Swansea University, Wales, UK. In addition, he holds a Distinguished Research Professorship at the Symbiosis Institute of Business Management (SIBM), Pune, India. Professor Dwivedi is also currently leading the International Journal of Information Management as its Editor-in-Chief. His research interests are at the interface of Information Systems (IS) and Marketing, focusing on issues related to consumer adoption and diffusion of emerging digital innovations, digital government, and digital and social media marketing particularly in the context of emerging markets. Professor Dwivedi has published more than 500 articles in a range of leading academic journals and conferences that are widely cited (more than 50 thousand times as per Google Scholar). He has been named on the annual Highly Cited Researchers™ 2020, 2021 and 2022 lists from Clarivate Analytics. Professor Dwivedi is an Associate Editor of the Journal of Business Research, European Journal of Marketing, and Government Information Quarterly, and Senior Editor of the Journal of Electronic Commerce Research.

Antoine L. Harfouche

Antoine Harfouche is a ‘MUR (Ministry of University and Research) Brain Gain’ Professor in Tuscia University, Italy. His interdisciplinary research aims to connect the dots between biology and artificial intelligence. His science work is described in numerous peer-reviewed scientific articles in prestigious journals. He has extensive experience in R&D growth and leadership in both academia and industry in Europe and the U.S. He serves on the Steering Committee of the ‘International Conference on Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence in Agricultural Management’, Stockholm University, November 2023. He serves as lecturer for the ‘BioMed-AI Summer School: Biomedicine & Bioethics supporting responsible innovation in the era of Big Data & AI’, Athens, June 2023. Prof. Harfouche is an independent ethics expert at the European Research Council and an external expert at the Marie-Skłodowska-Curie Actions, both at the European Commission. He is passionate about open science, enabling FAIRness in computational biology, and promoting the democratization of AI.
